Scott Haines
About the Artist
Scott moved to North Carolina in 1996 from North Dakota after completing four years in the fine art program at Minot State University. His love of pottery began during an art class in the eighth grade. From his reading of pottery, observation of other potters and many opportunities provided by his teachers, Scott's passion for the art form grew stronger everyday. Since then, he has worked with stoneware, porcelain and raku mediums. Scott instructs pottery at Carteret Community College.
