Artist's Statement

I have always been at home under the open sky, loving the outdoors and nature. This is where I have found my spiritual connection. I love the subtle and dramatic changes in the weather and the seasons and all that affects the quality of light on the landscape. I appreciate both the joy and the challenges I find while recording my emotional responses to these on canvas.

I also truly appreciate the chance to share my vision and heartily thank my patrons and students for their interest in my work.
