Ricardo Celma

About the Artist

Ricardo Celma was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. At 5 years of age Ricardo attended an art workshop. After that he studied art without interruption for 20 years. He was a student of Susana Marble (1981 - 1982), Marcelo Plaza (1982-1983), Jose Alberto Marchi (1983-1985, 1990-1991), Claudio Barragan (1985-1986, 1989), Julio Barragan (1989), Charles Fels (1991-1992), and Alejandro Boim, under a grant at Argentina's National School of Fine Arts (1997).

He attended conferences and short courses with personalities such as Keneth Kemble, Perez Celis, Ricardo Carpani, Jorge Abot, Dalmiro Saenz, R. Crosatto. In his travels he attended various workshops by such luminaries as Kokosinsky Alessandro (Rome), Antonio Lopez (Madrid), Waldo Saavedra (Cuba), Raul Anguiano (Guadalajara).
