Lorri Acott-Fowler
Biography
Lorri Acott-Fowler is a sculptor currently represented in nine galleries around the US. Articles in 'Sculptural Pursuit Magazine' and 'Pottery Making Illustrated' have featured Lorri’s unique development and application of paper-clay sculpting techniques, which has led to bronze sculptures that are unique and recognizable. Lorri’s sculptures are collected by art lovers as far away as The Netherlands, South Africa, and Japan, and have been placed on the sets of a number of different television programs including "Dirty Sexy Money", “ER”, “Shark”, "'Till Death", "Ugly Betty" and “Brothers and Sisters". Lorri's work also will be seen in the spring on the big screen in the movie "The Soloist", starring Robert Downey Jr., Jamie Fox and Catherine Keener.
Public art projects include The Women with Wings Project which brought together over 400 women with their own unique stories of inspiration. Also recently installed a 12ft Tall "Peace" for Hospice in Evergreen, CO. and several pieces placed in sculpture walks throughout the country.
