Eleanor Miller
Biography and Artist Statement
Eleanor Miller is inspired by the farmland that surrounds her Connecticut studio and her affinity with the natural world is abundantly evident in her ethereal oils.
After receiving her BFA from Connecticut College in New London, the artist studied with The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Eleanor completed her Masters Degree from the School of Visual Arts in New York. In her move back to Connecticut, she is happily fulfilling her desire to create beauty from nature as a full time artist.
“Painting reflects my observation of nature and the creatures that roam, swim and share this planet with us. The images that interest me discuss life’s continuing process and the mystery of its evolution.” Eleanor Miller’s paintings are celebrations of nature as she melds reality with spirituality.
